Fasten off and sew to the front of the body.

5. Arms (Make 2)

Stuff lightly. Flatten the opening and fasten off with a long tail.

6. Claw Details

Use white yarn to embroider 3 small claws on each hand.

7. Tail

8. Back Spikes (Make 4)

Make in pastel colors such as pink, yellow, peach, and blue.

9. Top Horn

The shell should form a bowl shape. Do not overstuff. If needed, add a small weighted base.

11. Eggshell Rim

To create the cracked edge, work pointed segments around the top rim:

*sl st, ch 3, sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, sl st in next rim st* repeat around, varying height slightly for a jagged cracked look.

12. Shell Dots (Make 6–8)

Use pastel blue, pink, yellow, and mint.

Fasten off and sew randomly around the outside of the shell.

13. Face Details

Insert safety eyes before closing the head.
Embroider two small nostrils on the snout.
Stitch soft curved brows above the eyes.
Add blush circles to the cheeks.

14. Assembly

Sew the snout to the lower center of the head.
Sew the head to the top of the body.
Attach the belly patch to the front of the body.
Sew the arms to the front sides so they rest over the shell edge.
Attach the tail at the back.
Sew the pastel spikes from the back of the head down to the upper body.
Sew the top horn to the crown of the head.
Attach the pastel dots around the eggshell exterior.
Place the dinosaur inside the shell and secure the lower body to the shell interior.
Adjust the arms so the claws sit over the cracked rim.
