4. Belly Patch

Fasten off and sew to the front of the body.
5. Arms (Make 2)

Stuff lightly. Flatten the opening and fasten off with a long tail.
6. Claw Details
Use white yarn to embroider 3 small claws on each hand.
7. Tail

8. Back Spikes (Make 4)

9. Top Horn
With mint green:

The shell should form a bowl shape. Do not overstuff. If needed, add a small weighted base.
11. Eggshell Rim
To create the cracked edge, work pointed segments around the top rim:
*sl st, ch 3, sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, sl st in next rim st* repeat around, varying height slightly for a jagged cracked look.
12. Shell Dots (Make 6–8)
Use pastel blue, pink, yellow, and mint.
R1: 6 sc in MR (6)
Fasten off and sew randomly around the outside of the shell.
13. Face Details
- Insert safety eyes before closing the head.
- Embroider two small nostrils on the snout.
- Stitch soft curved brows above the eyes.
- Add blush circles to the cheeks.
14. Assembly
- Sew the snout to the lower center of the head.
- Sew the head to the top of the body.
- Attach the belly patch to the front of the body.
- Sew the arms to the front sides so they rest over the shell edge.
- Attach the tail at the back.
- Sew the pastel spikes from the back of the head down to the upper body.
- Sew the top horn to the crown of the head.
- Attach the pastel dots around the eggshell exterior.
- Place the dinosaur inside the shell and secure the lower body to the shell interior.
- Adjust the arms so the claws sit over the cracked rim.
